This is an update to a July 22nd RECOSA web post and email regarding upcoming changes to the City of San Antonio’s 457(b) plans.
If you are a 457(b) Deferred Compensation plan account holder, you should have received information about changes to the City’s 457(b) Deferred Compensation plans in the mail. Originally, the effective date for these changes was July 28, 2023, but all changes (to the funds and the addition of the Roth option) have been temporarily postponed. The City of San Antonio wanted to provide more time for you to meet with your 457(b) Deferred Compensation plan representatives should you have any questions about these changes. The City of San Antonio will notify you once a new effective date has been determined. The notice below regarding this update has also been mailed to you.
