RSVP for Aug. 11 Brown Bag
The City of San Antonio’s Human Resources Dept. and RECOSA will be hosting the next Brown Bag session on Friday, Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pre-K 4 SA West Education Center, located at 1235 Old Hwy. 90 W. (formerly Enrique M. Barrera Pkwy.).

The City of San Antonio will present items of interest to retirees in the proposed FY2024 Budget, answer questions and address comments from RECOSA’s 2022 survey, and present any proposed changes to next year’s retiree benefits. Human Resources will provide healthy snacks and water, and RECOSA will be awarding door prizes to attendees.

457(B) Plan Changes
The City of San Antonio Human Resources Dept. sent a letter dated July 3, 2023, to all 457(B) (Deferred Compensation) plan participants. That letter detailed important improvements to the 457 program that will positively impact current City employees, former City employees, and City retirees with active 457 accounts. Those improvements are slated to take effect beginning August 1, 2023.
