New BCBSTX & Aetna ID Cards
Non-Medicare (pre-65) retirees with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) health insurance will receive new ID cards if you have:
- added or removed dependents -or-
- changed plans (i.e. Consumer Choice PPO, Blue Essentials HMO, or New Value PPO)
Medicare (post-65) retirees with Aetna Medicare Advantage health insurance should be receiving new ID cards before the end of the year.

Earn Aetna Health Rewards by Dec. 31
Medicare (post-65) retirees with Aetna Medicare Advantage health insurance are eligible to earn up to $200 by completing certain activities. The deadline to complete these activities and earn your rewards is Dec. 31.

Jan. 2 Board Meeting Rescheduled to Jan. 9
The Jan. 2, 2024, RECOSA board meeting has been rescheduled to Tue., Jan. 9, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. due to the New Year’s holiday. The regular monthly board meetings are held online via Google Meet.
