Annual Charitable Campaign
The City of San Antonio’s Annual Charitable Campaign is currently underway and runs through Dec. 1. Remember, you can designate your donation to the organization of choice. A list of those organizations is attached below.

Support RECOSA
Consider supporting RECOSA by making a donation today. Our member donations have been down this year and below what we projected.
RECOSA is a 501(c)3 non-profit group whose members are retired, City of San Antonio civilian employees. It is guided by an all-volunteer Board of Directors.
RECOSA relies solely on donations to provide advocacy and programs on YOUR behalf.
Among the reasons to donate to RECOSA:
- In memory of a fellow City retiree or their family member.
- To cover administrative costs required for operating RECOSA, including expenses related to the upkeep of the website
- To maintain a reserve for printing and postal communications with RECOSA members
- To avoid having to charge dues to RECOSA members
- For a possible tax deduction
The IRS requires non-profit organizations, such as RECOSA, to provide acknowledgement letters to their donors. These acknowledgement letters serve as documentation of your contribution for income tax purposes. Your contact information is used solely for this purpose.

Nov. 17 Annual Meeting/Brown Bag
RECOSA invites you to join us for our 2023 Annual Membership Meeting & Brown Bag Session on Fri., Nov. 17 @ 11:30 a.m. at The Urban Ecology Center at Phil Hardberger Park, located at 8400 NW Military Hwy.

Mayor Ron Nirenberg will be our our guest speaker. There will be door prizes and a silent auction featuring two (2) Plaza Level tickets and a parking pass to the Nov. 20 San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Clippers game, compliments of RECOSA Secretary Diana Alcocer.
